Online Web Ordering Setup (Online QR)


Prerequisites
User must have a registered cashier terminal

STEP 1 – CREATE A WEB ORDER PROFILE
1. Go to RMS > POS > POS TERMINAL and Create a new Pos Terminal for WEB ORDER.
*(Only need to create one Dummy Terminal for online web order)
2. Fill in the required details and make sure the POS TYPE & POS MODULE is set to [Web
Order] and The Layout Profile Id select [WO01A].
3. After you [SAVE] you will get the QR Image and then you can download the QR image
and attach to the advertisement material later on.
4. Go to POS Settings > Functions > Web Order to set up the Media Album and Order
message.
*(To create new or edit Media Album RMS > Common > Media Album)
   4.1 Welcome page media album *(Image photo show on Web Order main page after QR scan)
   4.2 Order page media album *(Image photo show on top of the order page)
   4.3 Order confirmation message *(message show at view cart page)
   4.4 Order submitted message *(message show after order submitted)
         *To create an organised and detailed message kindly refer to [Additional info].
5. Create or update Web Order menu POS > POS MENU (Default Web Order menu:PRODUCT-WO).
6. Then press the [Publish Menus] at the Web Order POS Terminal.
*Note: Any Changes or update the setting, menu and order message must Publish Menu If you didn’t [Publish Menu] the menu will not update or apply to web order.


STEP 2 – APPLY WEB ORDER INFO TO CASHIER TERMINAL

1. Go to RMS > POS > POS TERMINAL and select the Cashier Terminal.
2. Next go to POS SETTINGS > FUNCTIONS > WEB ORDER and fill in the required
information and verify the Web Order URL is correct.
    2.1 To enable Online web order you only need to enable the
[Web Order Mode] & choose an option for [Auto process online web order]

    2.2 Auto process online web order has 3 options you may choose according to the
requirement and situation.
- Disabled (No action will be taken when an orders come in only show notification
at the top of the screen.)
- Save and Send (The system will save and send after an order comes in.)
- Print Master Slip (The system will print the master slip after an order comes in.)
*(Only apply the setting to the POS terminal of the outlet want to use Online Web
Order)

STEP 3 – SETUP OUTLET INFO

1. Go to RMS > OUTLET > [Select an Outlet].
2. Make sure the [Online Order] is [ON], set to [OFF] if the outlet does not support online
order.
3. Fill in [Latitude] and [Longitude] to allow Online Web Order capture the shop location
and show the correct distance between user and shop at the online web order page.
*How to get the location latitude and longitude kindly refer to [Additional Info].
4. Setup Online Order Coverage (km)
*(Make sure the outlet [Latitude] and [Longitude] is correct to make this work.
[0.00] System will not control the distance between user and shop.
[10.00] System will block user to continue if the distance exceed 10.00km
*System will only block for the [Delivery] option, [Pickup] is still able to continue.

STEP 4 - SETUP DELIVERY CHARGES

1. Go to [RMS > Common > Tax Condition] > Select the Tax Condition according the
user setup > Tax Condition Detail > Add new Tax Condition Line.
2. Filled in all the required columns, and next Tax User Defined Formula insert the
Delivery Charge amount e.g delivery charge is RM5



3. To charge according to the distance e.g 1-5km RM5, 6-10km RM10, you have to create
2 tax condition lines and set the charges and distance accordingly.
4. Next go to Tax Condition Filter > add a new condition set Order Source equal to 4.


STEP 5 – VERIFY, SYNC & TEST THE SETTINGS IN RMS & POS TERMINAL.

1. Access Cashier Terminal Front End POS.
2. Sync & Refresh the POS.
3. Go to HOME > SETUP > POS SETTINGS > FUNCTIONS > WEB ORDER
3.1 make sure the information is correct, and make sure the Web Order mode is Enabled.
3.2 The tablet icon will show at the middle top of the page.


Additional Info (Web Order)

1. To create an organised and detailed message for the order message can use the tools at
the link below. (no download required)

    1.1 Fill in the information you wish to show on the message at the left side box and design with the terms, size, color you want.
    1.2 Create a link easier for user by just clicking simply go to [Insert > Link]
    1.2.1. Place the link in the Url e.g https://wa.me/60109999999 or business website
    1.2.2. Fill in the text you wish to show e.g [Click Here] and then press OK.
    1.3 After you complete your design simply copy all the text at the right side box and paste it to your web order message at the RMS and publish menus.

2. To get your location latitude and longitude.
    2.1 Go to google map https://www.google.com/maps search your location, right click your location in the map and select [What’s here?] and you will get your latitude and longitude at the bottom of the page.
 
3. To set up different selling prices for different outlets.
    3.1 [RMS > Common > Sell Price Type] create the price code for different outlets and filter it at the [Outlet].
           *(To show different price by outlet at online web order must filter by Price Code)

4. Different product modifiers for POS and Web Order for the same product item.
    4.1 Create 2 product modifier groups for POS and Web Order.
    4.2 Product Modifier > Product Filter after select the item add another line select [Order Source]
          E.g Item Equal XX11 AND Order Source Equal 3
          If same product item are used for Order Source 3 & 4 you have to create another line
          E.g Item Equal XX11 AND Order Source Equal 3
                Item Equal XX11 AND Order Source Equal 4

5. To create different selling prices for POS and Web Order.
    5.1 Create a price tag e.g DLV and add into the product item selling price and key in the price.
    5.2 Next go to [RMS > POS > Pos Order Type] select the order type of delivery(Online) or Pickup (Online) or both and fill in the Price Tag columns.
    5.3 [Publish Menus] and test.
